Chukar oil painting
Now my husband wants me to do another painting for him. This time it is one of my dog Millie, pointing some chukars. It is 24x36. This is my progress so far. I just started it, but I love feed back and any critiquing.
I will keep you posted on my progress. Enjoy!
Here are some of my paintings. All of them are oil on canvas. Feel free to critique or give me any kind of feedback. Anything can help on my journey to become a better painter.
Here is my oil painting of the Manti Temple. It was finished the end of 2010 and was my toughest painting. It is a 16x20. The picture was taken on the day my husband and I were married. My dad and I built the frame. Everything to build the frame cost about $25. Great deal!
Here is an oil painting I did for my husband. I finished it for him the end of last year and gave it to him for Christmas. Now that I look at it, I am going to make some more changes on the buck. I can't remember the dimensions. I know it is bigger than the Manti Temple painting. It is now hanging up in my husbands office at his work. The picture was taken up the mountains where I grew up. One thing I found out from my dad is that there used to be an old road that ran through right where the buck is standing.
Here is a painting I did in college. I finished it about October 2004. It is a black and white painting. Which means I painted everything in black and white. Then I covered it all with a glaze of certain colors. This was such a fun painting. Also a 16x20.
And lastly, my most recent painting for my father-in-law. I believe it is a 28x34 and is now hanging up at his cabin. The picture of the scenery was taken in the book cliffs, roadless. My husband, his brother and father, were able to go on a special hunt in the book cliffs and hunt elk. My father-in-law asked me to do a painting of the book cliffs with some elk in it.

I have more paintings that are away from my home. Someday I will get pictures of them and post some more.
