This painting was so much fun. Painting in black and white again brought back everything I learned in college. This painting was taken from a photo of my mother-in-law's parents. Her mother(in the painting) passed away this past year. Her father ( in the painting) passed away many years ago. I thought that painting this would be a great Christmas present.

Finished Mountain Goat Painting

I finished the mountain goat painting. It is a 24x36 with King's Peak in the background. Very challenging painting but a great learning experience.

It has taken me a while to get to where I am now.  I have been super busy lately.  Hopefully I can pick up and get more accomplished with this painting.  Let me know if you have any suggestions.  They are greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Here is more progress on my chukar painting.

Chukar oil painting

Now my husband wants me to do another painting for him.  This time it is one of my dog Millie, pointing some chukars.  It is 24x36.  This is my progress so far.  I just started it, but I love feed back and any critiquing.
